At Central Eyecare,
We offer patients the best glasses, contact lenses and eye tests so that you can have the best possible eyecare experience.
There are many reasons why Central Eyecare is still an independent optometry practice. Being independent means we can offer:
NSW Spectacles Program
We’re proud to be a provider of the NSW Spectacles Program which government funded glasses to eligible recipients.
Comprehensive Eye Exams
We don’t just check for glasses, we do a comprehensive eye exam that assesses the overall health of your eyes.
Orthokeratology
Orthokeratology is the process of wearing lenses that reshape the eye resulting clear vision during the day.
Glasses Made On Site
We have onsite equipment that can be used to make your glasses. We can cover about 75% of all prescriptions.
Friendly staff
we don’t overbook, and we don’t believe in long waiting lists. Urgent or not, we’re here when you need us
Healthfunds Rebates
We accept all major healthfunds. You can claim rebates for prescription glasses, sunglasses and contact lenses.

It’s great that you feel that you see well, however in our experience we recommend that all patients over the age of 40 and school age children should be receiving regular eye tests.
